Useful questions before recommendations
We frame clothing, footwear and accessories coverage around intended use, available size and fit information, material composition, care and buying conditions. Recommendations should explain both their reasoning and their limitations.
Sources and testing
Published specifications and retailer policies should be attributed to their sources. Hands-on observations should be identified as such, including what was examined. We do not use an illustrative photograph as evidence of testing, or assign a score without explaining its basis.
Prices and availability
Retailer prices, stock and terms can change. Check the retailer's current product page and policies before paying. Any dated statement should be understood in the context of its stated review date.
